Russian Railways sets 12.8% discount to exports of steam coal

MOSCOW, Mar 16 (PRIME) -- Russian Railways has set a 12.8% discount for exports of steam coal to the ports of the Black and Azov Seas, the company said in a statement on Monday.

“Taking into account the unfavorable price situation and with the goal of raising competitiveness of supplies of Russian coal to the global markets, Russian Railways has decided to provide a maximum possible discount of 12.8% to transportation of export steam coal to the ports of the basin of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov,” the company said.
